Well I was taken out to see what the lads were doing and again placed on the grass in front of this black board thing. Is 108-5 from 23 overs good ....don't think so. Anyway someone stood on me but my master was away with that bat thing in is hand and then another one said 1 add 2 and then a wide is 5. He must be right; he said this 3 times ......and he is a pilot!

Nice sunshine morning and off to Reading today to some place called Catcliffe Way. Think I get a new master this afternoon if I understand things correctly. I will update later... |

The hiding did the trick but I was found today and guess what…a School Cricket match at the Downs. I got there and it was cold and drizzly so no way was I getting out of the car. I did hear that an old Master of mine won a Golden Duck or something but it did not come back in the car with us!

Monday another cricket match watching an U15’s side. Now these guys are good. 267 runs from 20 overs…I think the Welford 1st need to look at this style…and a win by 188 runs… nice performance boys!
Tuesday I was in the car off to a school match but that was cancelled due to rain. Not sure if I can take any more of these. Think I’ll go and hide somewhere!

Sunday and I’m taken out again but this time up to “The Park”. Herro makes sure I am put safely on some sort of black ledge. It’s quite high here and I’m unlikely to get hit, but I might fall off!
These Sunday boys are not quite up to the standard I have seen so far but they seemed happy playing in a game with only 253 runs scored! Guess they must have won!
